The Heart Behind the Project

There was absolutely no way I was a mom at just 19 years old.
Even with a strong, loving support system around me, I will never forget the rush of emotions I felt in that moment. The shock, the fear, the uncertainty. It's a feeling you can't explain unless you've lived it. Your whole world shifts in an instant.
And in that moment I wondered: If I felt that overwhelmed with support, what does that moment feel like for a mother who feels like she has none?
That question stayed with me - and with compassion rooted in experience, Seen: The Motherhood Project was born.
This project is an annual event where 50% of the proceeds from my Mother's Day mini sessions are donated to an organization that exists to support and provide vital resources to mothers who find themselves in a situation with unplanned pregnancy.
Because every mother, no matter her circumstances, deserves to be seen.
What is "Seen: The Motherhood Project?"
A quick Summary
Seen is a Photography initiative that celebrating the beauty, strength, and reality of motherhood. At the same time, it exists to bring support to women experiencing unexpected pregnancy.
By participating, you're not only honoring your own journey - you're giving hope to a mother and baby who need it more than ever.

Mini Session Fee: $200
50% of all proceeds will be donated to charity
This is a paid photography session, not a donation.
50% of all proceeds collected will be allocated directly to Choices Pregnancy Center, helping provide essential resources and support for mothers experiencing unplanned pregnancies. After the project concludes, I will share the total amount contributed to Choices through this project.

What charity will the proceeds be going to?
50% of all funds raised from The Motherhood Project will be going to Choices Pregnancy Center. Choices is a nonprofit organization serving the Phoenix area, dedicated to supporting women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. They provide free and confidential services such as pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, emergency baby supplies, and ongoing education and support for parents. Choices also offers compassionate counseling for those navigating pregnancy decisions and healing support for individuals experiencing regret after abortion. Their mission is to ensure every woman feels informed, supported, and not alone - both during and after pregnancy.
Who are these sessions for?
These sessions are designed for moms who want to pause and be celebrated this Mother's Day. They're created to honor motherhood in all its forms - from pregnancy to growing families and every chapter in between. No matter what stage you're in, this is a space for you to feel seen, valued, and cherished.
How many final images can we expect to receive?
Each mini session gallery will include 10 final images of your choice, with the option to purchase additional images for $15 each. 50% of the funds raised from any additional images that are purchased will also be donated to Choices Pregnancy Center.
When will we receive our images?
You will first receive a proof gallery to review. After selecting your final images, the finishing touches will be applied promptly, and your completed gallery will be delivered before Mother's Day, May 10, 2026.
